My story
This is Pappy. A person found Pappy on the pavement outside their home where he wasn’t able to move more than standing for a few seconds at a time. They weren’t sure if maybe he had been injured, and there had been no answers in their search to find his people. Once he was turned over to one of our volunteers, he was rushed over to a vet for some medical help. During his examination, Pappy was thankfully not injured but still not in great shape. He was severely emaciated, dehydrated, suffering from infections and was also completely blind due to uncontrolled high blood pressure. He was also in the beginning stages of heart and kidney disease. Pappy is currently on the uncertain road to recovery but in stable condition. He has a balanced diet, multiple medications and fluid therapy treatments that he does all like the champion he is! He is finally walking and learning the ins and outs of his foster home and best of all enjoying the kisses and cuddles he deserves!
All of our cats and kittens are examined by a veterinarian, Feline Leukemia/FIV tested, vaccinated for Rabies and FVRCP, dewormed for internal parasites, checked for external parasites, current on heartworm prevention/flea control, and have been spayed/neutered. Adoption fee is $120.
