My story

　　Sweeter than chocolate chip!Hey there! Have you ever met someone who doesn’t like pancakes? Guess what, me either! That’s why my name is Pancake. I’m comforting, just the right dose of sugar, and I’m a huge crowd pleaser. I’m a 7-year old, 26-pound, neutered male cattle dog mix. I was rescued from Ensenada, with a broken rear left leg, and have gone through an amputation. Now, does it slow me down? Umm, nope. The only thing is that, the injury caused some mild incontinence and I leak a bit. Post surgery, this leakage has improved, and belly bands have helped. I am also good about letting know when I need to go outside, and I am great with a leash. I have also had some teeth removed, and I dribble when I drink water. Nothing major though!I am incredibly dog friendly and super non-reactive to even the naughty ones. But rather than playing, I prefer lounging and watching them do their thing, or get on with my ball or squeaky toys. I havent been around cats. Also, nor around kids but when we walk near the preschool I always wants to go say hi to them. I can be called pretty low energy and very calm and one walk per day is good, although I love it when I get more. I do have severe isolation anxiety and will bark and howl non-stop if left alone, but having another dog around helped me deal with isolation anxiety. Before meal times I will spin spin spin, because I will get so excited! And the same at the prospect of a walk!This short stack is a wonderful, sweet and calm companion who will hang out with you 24/7. I love to accompany my family everywhere they go, specially brunch dates. I am very well behaved - non-destructive, will lie down calmly at a restaurant while you eat. I like to chill by myself around my people, but occasionally, couch cuddles are lovely! If you can take this sweet delight home, do come and meet!
