My story
Please meet 4 month old male Paddington❤️, he has come in to rescue with some medical issues. Paddington was examined at Aurora Animal Clinic and has been diagnosed with two different problems. Firstly, he has a condition called entropion affecting his right eye, this is a condition where the lower eyelid is rolling in and
rubbing on the cornea, if left untreated it can lead to damage to the cornea.
In the near future, we will plan on sedating him and placing some temporary "tacking" sutures that will allow the eyelid to sit normally. Often this is corrects the problem and some pups will "grow into" their eyelids. He may or may not need additional surgical repair once he is done growing.
His second issue is that he appears to have a stricture in his colon causing him to have difficulties defecating, we are recommending that he get a stool softener to help him pass feces easier until we can have him see a surgeon. We should have some kind of plan around the 1st week of April.
He is doing great with the other dogs in the home
loves all the people he's met so far. An update will be posted on the rescue's Facebook page when we learn what's going on with him. He'll be available when he's been medically cleared by his vet❤️
He is located in Fairbanks
Adoption fee when he is ready will still only be $400
Adoption information,
