Pacer's story

　　Pacer is the ultimate package! This girl is an incredibly smart and loyal companion. She is very gentle in everything she does, from greeting you to accepting treats to walking on a leash, etc! She is potty-trained, dog-door trained, completely trustworthy in the house, and has been a fantastic mother to her six babies! She has come such a long way from when she and her babies were rescued. She was found in a den in the woods when her pups were two weeks old. She was skin and bones and was living off of grass and sticks, giving all available nutrients to her babies. She did not know what to think at first about being shown love. She has now realized that she is on the path to the life she deserves, and you can see it in her eyes how grateful she is. This 28 lb sweetheart is going to be an ultimate addition to a family that is wanting to show and receive love! She gets along great with other dogs and people of all ages, and she is ready to expand that love to a family of her own! 　　**Please ask for this pet's adoption fee. It is a tax-deductible donation to help pay vet bills.

　　ALL PETS FULLY VETTED BEFORE ADOPTION: including exam, MICROCHIP, spay or neuter, Heartworm test, fecal, deworm, DA2PPv, Rabies (if old enough), as well as any other medications or surgeries the pet needs.

　　Some highly adoptable dogs who will find a forever home quickly, have a higher adoption fee. These dogs leave a financial legacy for the other animals in our care who may need extensive medical care or more time to find a loving home.

　　Return Policy: Foster homes save many lives, and as soon as one gets adopted, they often get another one. So spaces fill up fast! If you wish to return your adopted dog, please email pets@anewleash.org and be prepared to bring him/her to adoption events until a forever home is found. In some cases their previous foster can take them back. They cannot be given away, sold, or turned in to another agency. You are responsible for keeping your dog and bringing him/her to adoption events until we find a suitable home to adopt them.
