Oreo's story

　　Oreo is a sweet and sensitive Border Collie mix from Oklahoma. She lost her home (which included 18 dogs and 4 cats!) when her owner was evicted. Oreo is both dog and cat friendly and slowly but surely warms up to new people. She enjoys putting her head in your lap and asking for affection and pets. Oreo does take time to get to know you and may not do well with small children who may scare her, or leave the door open. Oreo is a bit of a flight risk since she is fearful, so experienced adopters are preferred. After some time she does bond strongly to her people and gives them endless love. Oreo is house trained, crate trained, and also trustworthy loose in her home. She is truly a gem looking for an equally wonderful forever family! Her dental care will need monitored as she ages as Oreo has one broken Canine tooth.
