Meet Orchid! This cutie is a young golden and white shepherd mix. Initially shy around new people, after a few minutes this girl is all wiggles - especially if you have treats! After only a short time in her foster home Orchid is already happy to trot into her crate, and is learning about how nice it is to relax and sleep in there. House training is a work in progress. Orchid is a playful girl who greets other dogs nicely. She adores running and playing chase with her foster sister, another medium sized dog about her same size. Orchid would love to find a home with another dog buddy to help show her the ropes. She loves dog toys and will go back and forth across the house collecting her toys so she can play with them all at the same time. This treat-motivated girl is happy to sit or dance for a treat. Her foster mom thinks teaching her 'down' and 'stay' will be snap. Orchid is an A+ snuggler and loves to wiggle herself right next to you on the couch or bed. She loves her dog bed, but we think her perfect forever family will let her on furniture and will allow her the option of sleeping in their bed with them at night. Orchid is still a growing young dog who is going to need proper training, exercise, mental stimulation, and your love and attention to be her best self and wonderful addition to your family! If you are interested in meeting Orchid, your first step is to fill out an adoption application on our website.
