Hi!
My name is Opie.
I'm a young male hound cattle dog mix, about 10 mos. old who ended up in the Chowchilla Police Dept. shelter through no fault of my own.
Because the shelter is small and overcrowded, and I am such a nice friendly boy, shelter staff made sure a transport to Dalmatian Rescue in Southern California included me, even though I have no spots.
Even without spots, I am a very handsome boy and so very friendly, everyone loves me.
I am active and playful, love to play with other dogs of all shapes and sizes.
I am being walked daily so I'm learning my leash manners.
I am great with people and would make a good companion for just about anyone, big or small. I am young and active and as such, would be best in a home with another dog or someone around to keep me company and out of mischief. I am neutered, vaccinated and will be microchipped before I leave for my forever home.
I am missing my family and would so love another family to love .. could it be yours?
If you are interested in making an appointment to come meet me, please contact Dalmatian Rescue of Southern California, Inc. by phone at , or for speedier service, by email at [email protected].
