Opie's story
I don't have a history with dogs, but bring your dog down to meet with me to see how we get along.
I don't have a history with cats, but may do well with them with a slow introduction.
I lived with kids in my previous home.
Here is what his previous owner has to say about 79 pound Opie:
Opie is a loving and intelligent guy. He's proven to be incredibly attentive and affectionate, giving kisses on command. He's a quick learner and has been working on commands such as sit, leave it, tummy rubs and wait. He loves nothing more than to follow his people around and learn about their habits and activities. He's learning to trust people in new situations and wants to say hello to every dog and person he sees. He's a very good boy in the car and is just happy to be going anywhere with his people. Opie is polite and very gentle, though he can't help himself if offered a lap to sit on and he'll cover you in kisses and hugs. He's been learning how to roll on his back when greeting people since not everyone wants their face covered in giant puppy drool! During play time he's super goofy, chasing balls and sticks and usually missing them on his first try. He likes to run around in short bursts, then sit and chew on his toys for awhile before getting up to run around like a giant goofball again. Opie is very curious and loves to inspect plants in the garden and sniff and lick whatever he watches you look at. He picks up very well on body language and facial expressions and just wants to please his people and cuddle at every chance.
He has no separation anxiety and is a very good boy when his people are away at work. He's very house broken and rarely barks.
He's such a good boy and will do well in a cat-free home with cuddly and affectionate people who want to lavish him with love and attention.
