Ophelia's story

　　Ophelia is a precious Senior girl that was found by our volunteers at a rural shelter. She was struggling to stand and walk, so they loaded her up and brought her back to Huntsville. She has been seen by our veterinarian and life is looking up for her! Her favorite activity is being outside in the grass and letting the wind blow through her hair. We have a hard time getting her back inside! She will need a home with easy access to outdoors (steps will be a little difficult for her). She is super loving and an easy girl to have around. 　　**Please ask for this pet's adoption fee. It is a tax-deductible donation to help pay vet bills.

　　ALL PETS FULLY VETTED BEFORE ADOPTION: including exam, MICROCHIP, spay or neuter, Heartworm test, fecal, deworm, DA2PPv, Rabies (if old enough), as well as any other medications or surgeries the pet needs.

　　Some highly adoptable dogs who will find a forever home quickly, have a higher adoption fee. These dogs leave a financial legacy for the other animals in our care who may need extensive medical care or more time to find a loving home.

　　Return Policy: Foster homes save many lives, and as soon as one gets adopted, they often get another one. So spaces fill up fast! If you wish to return your adopted dog, please email [email protected] and be prepared to bring him/her to adoption events until a forever home is found. In some cases their previous foster can take them back. They cannot be given away, sold, or turned in to another agency. You are responsible for keeping your dog and bringing him/her to adoption events until we find a suitable home to adopt them.
