ON/Rusty (bonded to ON/Jesse)'s story

　　Hello there! My name is Rusty and I am 11 years young. My brother Jesse (liver and white) and I are looking for a new forever home. We are a package deal....a two-fer...and we won't be split up. We are like Butch and Sundance, Bert and Ernie, peanut butter and jelly... you get it. We compliment each other and we always stick together. In fact, I kind of keep Jesse in line. He's a tad younger than I at only 10 years of age, so he appreciates my guidance and wisdom.

　　We are fun seniors. We can be couch potatoes if you want to snuggle, but we also like playing and running like crazy in the back yard (we are VERY zippy for our age). We live in a busy house with 3 other dogs, a ferret (which they keep away from us!) a very cool kid and some bigger people. I was bit nervous and jumpy when I first got here, but now I'm chill and enjoying foster life, my doggie door to my big fenced yard and hanging with the family. I do think I'd prefer if Jesse and I were your 'only dogs' though. It took me a while to be comfortable around the other dogs in the house and I just prefer Jesse's company over that of other dogs if truth be told. We've been sidekicks for some time now and I'm used to him.

　　Foster mom says we are awesome and loving. We are good left in the house and we always dance for her when she comes home. We LOVE car rides and take treats gently and will even sit nicely for them. We do pull a bit on leash (please refer to previous "zippy" reference above) but mostly we just go with the flow.

　　We are both very healthy, neutered and are heart worm negative, up to date on all our vaccines, and on flea/tick/heart worm prevention. They even checked out our blood and we are good to go!

　　Rusty and Jesse's adoption fees are $200 US (each) which offsets the cost of their vetting and of other dogs in need. Senior to senior adoption fee for them would be $100 US (each). We will NOT consider splitting them. They are a bonded pair and have lived together their entire lives.

　　Rusty and Jesse are being fostered near London, Ontario (Canada). NBRAN can transport up to 2200 kms (1400 miles) with the adopter expected to do the last 100 miles.
