My story
Onyx (Onbon is his nickname) is an extremely affectionate but independent cat. He is curious, playful, gentle and vocal. Onyx LOVES to sing. If you sing a tune he will sing along with you and he’s very chatty. He will make his presence known and curl up with you while you’re reading a book or watching a show. He has a tiny little white patch on his chest and he loves being rubbed there. He loves under-the-chin and around the ear scratches. He also LOVES being brushed. It takes him forever to get overstimulated with brushing, you could brush him for 30-minutes no exaggeration - it’s very soothing for him. Onyx isn’t that fond of being picked up but will endure it for a few seconds or so. He never bites and he never scratches even when he’s in play mode. He is a little bit of a scaredy cat. Foreign noises will startle him and he is not fond of vacuums. He loves cat trees and being in high places so he can observe the room. He is the first one to come out to see new people when they are in the house but that takes a little while for him to get comfortable with. He fusses a little bit when we trim his nails but he gets through it all the same. He likes his cat food and is disinterested in people's food. He will sleep in bed with you by your feet or curl up by your back in the morning (mostly during the cooler months). He loves to play with dangly toys and gets the zoomies from time to time. He does like hiding in dark and cool places. Onbon will need to be adopted with his sister, Nera. They are 3 years old and also looking for a foster home, so if you'd like to help these precious panthers that way, they'd be ever grateful!
