My story
Oliver is a 2-year-old male Shepherd mix who must be neutered before he is adopted. This guy was found as a stray and no one came to reclaim him. Oliver is black with brown markings and he does have just a bit of white markings. His coat is incredibly shiny! He currently weighs 29 pounds and he won't get much bigger. This is a very sweet dog who is so timid and shy. Oliver is scared of his own shadow which makes us believe he has been mistreated in the past. We could not even get him to stand up for his pictures! He enjoyed being outside and laying in the grass. You can even see the grass on his coat because he also enjoyed rolling in the grass! Oliver responds well to kindness and he is going to need a lot of patience from his new owner until he learns to trust you. Oliver is great with other dogs and would be fine with children once he adjusts to his new surroundings. This precious boy just needs a 'do over' on his young life. Oliver needs a wonderful family who will treasure him and love him for the great little dog that he is. If you want to make a difference in a shelter dog's life--Oliver is the one! Please consider helping Oliver learn to love and trust maybe for the first time in his life.Dogs may be adopted for $120. Cat adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
