Olive's story
Can you say ADORABLE? Back in June on a blistering hot day, volunteers were out delivering pools to dogs who are forced to live in back yards in this brutal heat. We could not help but notice that Olive not only was suffering from the heat, she also had a severe upper respiratory infection and was covered in ticks. After speaking with the owner, we were delighted that he was happy to turn her over to us. Olive has been with a foster family since and we have learned a lot about her. She is full of energy!! She bonds very closely to people and likes to play with her foster sister doggie! As she is young and has not had proper training, she will need to go to a mature household. Olive would do best in a house that has older kids as she is mouthy and a bit excitable. In other words, she needs structure. Olive is kennel trained, potty trained and goes in and out of the doggie door. She LOVES to go on car rides and will no doubt be a great hiking partner. Olive is not quite a year and will thrive with a routine that allows plenty of exercise and cuddle time. Olive is what we call a "pocket pittie" as her build is smaller and close to the ground. She is absolutely beautiful and full of happy, busy energy. If you are interested in adopting Olive ($200 donation), please take a moment to fill our application:/adoption-form and we will get back to you within 48 hours. Applications are required. Thank you!
