OK/Rusty Too's story

　　Hi, my name is Rusty. I am about 1 and a half years old, Brittany/Lab mix, orange/white 45 lb. neutered male, but dont let my age fool you. I am a pretty laid-back fellow. I am UTD on all my vaccines as of this week and HW Neg and on Heartworm prevention. I have a big heart to match my big feet. All I want is lots of love and attention. The kennel used to be a scary place for me, but I am getting used to it and dont mind it so much now. The stairs are still a little intimidating and I may need your help until I know they are safe. I have been practicing my commands and am getting really good at them. Walking on a leash is getting easier and easier. I have even gone running with my foster family and loved it. I know I can master it and be a great running buddy with a little more practice. I really want to please and try hard to do what I am supposed to. Chewing is one of my favorite things, but as long as I have my own toys, I will not bother yours. I enjoy rough housing with other dogs but know to be gentle with the tiny humans. I dont bark a lot or potty in the house because I know you wont be happy with me if I do. All I really want is to love and be loved.

　　My perfect forever family would be a happy loving home, give me belly rubs, cookies, toys and let me cuddle on the couch and watch tv. If you want me to sleep with you, I bet I would. I am a very happy sweet loving boy. Please consider me for my perfect home. I do need another dog to play with, so please make sure you have a fun playmate for me too, I love to play tug of war with my rope and my new brother or sister.

Transportation can be arranged up 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for the last 100 miles.
