My story
Coco Rose is 6 ½ mth old healthy Orange/White Roan spayed 44 lb female Brittany. (She is one of the big boned Britts out there). She is UTD on all her vaccines, HW/Tick neg and on HW/FT prevention. She is housebroken, crate trained for short hours, but still a puppy that you need to keep an eye on in the house. She has gorgeous markings and a sweet white heart on her forehead. She loves to race, do her zoomies.
Coco Rose Needs: She needs another young dog to cuddle, play and run around in a physical fenced in yard. She has never tried to climb or get out of a 4 ft chain-linked fence. She is great with children, or anyone. She is nothing but a love. She loves her other foster brother Carter and comforts him.
Coco Rose is one of the sweetest fosters we’ve ever had with NBRAN. She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body and does well with our other NBRAN foster boy and our two resident male dogs too. Coco has befriended the three feline members of the household. Coco has met three of our grandchildren and loves to run and play with them. She has enticed our male foster into playing more and loves to cuddle up with anyone that lets her snuggle close. She isn’t picky about making friends with anyone and has an easy going “love me” personality. That is, unless you happen to be a squirrel or a bird! Now those she loves to chase!
Coco hasn’t had a lot of leash work yet or obedience training. she walks reasonably well but would benefit from more training. She rides well in the car and enjoys going places. Everyone loves her wherever she goes, and she was quick to return the affection! She is very smart and has learned how to sit and is learning “down” and “off.” Coco will give you her food or toys easily and there is absolutely zero resource guarding! She shares toys well and never quarrels with our other foster dog or resident dogs.
Miss Coco Rose is a Velcro girl. If you’re in the kitchen, she likes to be there helping too. While we eat dinner at the table, she has to be close as well and normally has her head resting on one of our feet. She really is a people girl and wants to be close. Couch cuddles are some of her faves and she’ll snooze next to you snuggled in close.
Outside, Coco comes alive!! She’s learning how to fetch and loves to wrestle with our resident dogs! Coco Rose is an A plus fence patroller, and she makes sure there is no squirrels or birdies. She’ll eagerly bounce after a ball or toy, and sometimes retrieve it back to you. Coco can run like the wind and it’s a joy to see her stretch out her long lean body chasing after our dogs or a squirrel!
