Odin's story

　　Hi, my name is Odin but my friends call me Odie. I am a 3 year old Yellow Lab and I am currently interviewing for a new forever home. I am on the larger side checking in at 93 pounds but that doesn't stop me from acting like a puppy. I will even try and lay in your lap if you can handle it. My foster parents give me high marks for sleeping through the night and being house broken, as well as proper manners in the house such as, not chewing up your favorite shoes or emptying the trash for you. I am crate trained if needed, but heck, I will sleep with you or by your bed if given the chance. I get along very well with other dogs and would prefer to have a brother or sister so I am not an only dog. I have heard that there are these things they call cats but I haven't been around them so I will play that one by ear. Children are a question mark for me as well. I am very shy and "stand offish" at first, just til I get to know you, then we are cool. My favorite pastimes are following you around, taking a snooze and I like to chase a ball and bring it back. I like walks and I might pull on you a little when we leave the house if I think you aren't moving fast enough, but once outside I do well loose leash walking. I am learning some cool commands, sit, stay, leave it, those types of things and of course Odie NO! The rest I just try and read your mind and do a pretty good job if I do say so myself.
