November Ace's story
November Ace is a super special beauty. She is the sweetest, most playful and loving cat of all time. She adores attention and is acting like a kitten now that she is living pain free for the first time in years. This pure white beauty with golden eyes was trapped at the Ace Hardware in Greeley and promptly had five kittens the same day back at the Fort Collins Cat Rescue. From the start she seemed to know she could trust people and soaked up all the love we could give her. She had severe dental issues which she had to suffer through until her kittens were grown, and she dropped as low as 4 1/2 pounds while taking care of her five nursing kittens (she was an excellent and attentive mom!). Her ears were full of mites and bleeding when caught. Treatment eliminated the mites, but at her Spay surgery, her ears were examined more closely and it was found that both ear drums were burst from massive infections. Another few weeks of treatment was needed, during which time her five adorable kittens found their forever homes, and finally it was time for her to get relief from her painful mouth. She had dental surgery at the start of February and now, though she only has 3 teeth left, she is eating wet and hard food with gusto and loving life. She has become a super playful, attention loving girl who wants nothing more than to purr, get scritches and play. It's wonderful to see her acting like a kitten, since she may not have had a much of a kitten-hood herself. November loves company and would be happiest with someone around to keep her company. She has been fine around other cats in the shelter, but did get a bit hissy with another cat in her foster home who came close to the room where she was looking after her kittens. She hasn't been around dogs at all, so any interactions with them should be taken slowly. Will you please give her a chance? I promise, you won't regret it.
