My story
No party like a Nola party!
Hi friends! My name is Nola, and yes, I am as lively as the city! I am almost 1.5 years old, spayed female Lab mix and weigh about 49 lbs. I was rescued from Mexico streets and came to sunny San Diego with a leg injury that has healed up. I have a pin in my leg from the medical procedure. I was so happy to be here, that I got the happy tail syndrome. Whoopsie! I had to get my tail amputated but I am pain-free and happy as a clam! I am a good girl, bathroom and leash trained, and working on some leash reactivity.
I am a super major people-pleaser and can be such a lil shadow to stick to them! I love attention and being touched so much that I could be stuck with glue to you! I am smart and have picked up a bunch of training already. I am quite energetic and physical and mental stimulation is great for me! I do get some separation anxiety, but it's been manageable with another dog by me. Speaking of, I get along well with dogs, but may bark when outside due to leash frustrations. I am working on that with positive reinforcement. I am good with kids!
My foster mama says that I have been the most fun-loving, willing foster she's had! Vivaciousness comes easy to me and I 'm just happy! I'd be good with or without kids, preferably with another confident medium-high every dog who I can lean on when I get anxious. I do prefer company as much as possible! If you think we can be best party people together, let's meet! My adoption fee is $450 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/
