If you want a camera that's really easy to use and takes great looking pictures you're proud to display buy a Nikon! Cameras such as the D60 do not have a focus motor in it so they require the lens to have the focusing motor – an “AF-S” lens. While these bodies can use a lens with no focus motor (an “AF” lens) you would have to manually turn the focus ring to bring the subject in to sharp focus.1 week, 5 days ago.by NikonStaff1 week, 5 days ago0points0out of 0found this answer helpful.helpful0unhelpful0http://nikon.ugc.bazaarvoice.com/answers/7022/product/25438/answer/444943/undohelpfulness.djs?format=embeddedhtml&return=http%3A%2F%2F%2FNikon-Products%2FProduct-Archive%2FDigital-SLR-Cameras%2F25438%2FD60.html&innerreturn=http%3A%2F%2Fnikon.ugc.bazaarvoice.com%2Fanswers%2F7022%2Fproduct%2F25438%2Fquestions.djs%3Fformat%3Dembeddedhtml%26scrolltotop%3Dtrue%26expandquestion%3D401789%26expandanswer%3D444943&user=__USERID__&submissionparams=__BVSUBMISSIONPARAMETERS__&submissionurl=http%3A%2F%2F%2FReviewSubmission.pageReport inappropriate content .

Top 10 ContributorAnswer: Yes it will fit as its a F mount, however, you will lose AF and, no doubt, metering depending on which lens it is. This is of course saying that you are using a D60, later bodies like the D90, 300, 3 etc will retain metering anf AF but again depends on which lens it is.2 weeks ago.by KeithD2 weeks ago0points0out of 0found this answer helpful.helpful0unhelpful0http://nikon.ugc.bazaarvoice.com/answers/7022/product/25438/answer/444291/undohelpfulness.djs?format=embeddedhtml&return=http%3A%2F%2F%2FNikon-Products%2FProduct-Archive%2FDigital-SLR-Cameras%2F25438%2FD60.html&innerreturn=http%3A%2F%2Fnikon.ugc.bazaarvoice.com%2Fanswers%2F7022%2Fproduct%2F25438%2Fquestions.djs%3Fformat%3Dembeddedhtml%26scrolltotop%3Dtrue%26expandquestion%3D401789%26expandanswer%3D444291&user=__USERID__&submissionparams=__BVSUBMISSIONPARAMETERS__&submissionurl=http%3A%2F%2F%2FReviewSubmission.pageReport inappropriate content . 1 answerI have always easily downloaded pics by firewire to my mac.
