My story

　　Hi my name is Nike and I've made such a turnaround here at the rescue! When I first came to the rescue I was very fearful and would let out a low rumbling growl whenever my caretakers tried to clean up after me. Now I am as friendly as can be and I love the attention I get from them on a daily basis. I am a high energy boy, I run and romp with my playmate and we really get each other going! I would do well in a home with another dog that can keep up with my energy, or with a family that has a lot of time to spend making sure I get the exercise, stimulation, and love I need.

　　All of our pets are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested if over 6 months old and will be spayed or neutered before being allowed to go home. 

　　Unfortunately, we don't always know the background of each dog. Some were dumped, abandoned in an empty house, left tied to a tree, picked up by animal control as strays, or simply unwanted by their owners. Please take into consideration that owning a pet is a 10+ year commitment and discuss with all members of your family before submitting an application to adopt. 

　　If you have already filled out an online adoption application with our organization in the last 6 months you do not need to fill out another application. Please call or email us to schedule an appointment.
