Nicolaus Simoutre Violin. Violin labeled Nicolaus Simoutre Lupot Nicolai Discipulus Divoduri 1847….last 2 digits penciled in. Very beautiful instrument. Looks to be an original, but not confirmed. Other than 2 small repaired wing cracks on f holes, top and back appear crack free. At some point, someone engraved letters and numbers into bottom bout for identification.
