Nick's story

　　We are so honored to partner with other shelters in California where we can can work together to provide homes for even more animals. Nick came to us from southern California, evacuated due to the fires. We have been impressed with his ability to handle all the changes he's endured yet has remained calm, engaging and super sweet. We suspect Nick is a Schnauzer of some sort--he came in all matted, but a shave and a bath, and his silvery coat began to shine again. Nick has shown a gregarious and loving side with the volunteers saying he's "very friendly and so calm." Nick has been great with other dogs during his stay with us. We think someone is going to be awfully lucky taking this handsome fellow home!
