This was my very first training/racing wheels for road bike races and triathlons for a couple of periods. They are relative low in milage (1miles). The bearings are smooth and rims are still true. I didn't crash with this wheel.
They are a fantastic wheelset if you are searching for a way to make your stock bike faster and more aerodynamic inexpensively-- I have actually made fastest bike splits at a few regional triathlon races with these wheels, as well as making a good bike time (5:35) at a Ironman race. They are light (1600gm), really stiff, and apparently pretty aerodynamic.
- Tires and tubes are NOT included.
- I can not find matching skewers-- if I can not discover them, I will certainly consist of other skewers.
Neuvation was known for the wonderful value and boldy low rates-- I believe they made by far the finest wheels for the rate around-- in reality, John, the owner of the company took the brand just end of in 2013 and began the brand-new (but really comparable) brand very recently so that he might raise the price of the items. The MSRP of the similar wheels are $548 now (although they utilize bigger rims). I believe they utilize to offer them at $300-$400. (I'm not sure why I'm discussing all this-- no person would get this unless they currently know the brand. Anyways.).
