My story

　　Make some noise for the Notorious Nelly!Hey party people! My name is Nelly and I am here to bring the roof down, once I get acquainted with you'll though! Girl's gotta be practical, right? So yeah, I am Nelly, a 5 year old, female Chi-Terrier mix, weighing about 11 lbs, and fixed! I have a not-so-pleasant history as a junkyard dog with a few other pals. the rescuers from TAP literally climbed fences to save us. I have been at an amazing foster home since then, livin' up the good life. I have been the best gal with learning bathroom and leash manners quickly.My foster mama knows what an affectionate pooch I am! I am sweet, cuddly and love to play! I get along very well with most people, but still a bit wary around men. I am definitely getting desensitization lessons and learning to trust. I am also protective of my people. I get along with furry friends, dogs and cats, after a slow introduction. I have not met kids yet, but I think I should be good. As long as tehre is love and attention, I am going to be happy! My goal is definitely to spread the cheer around, so if you come home sad, I am gonna turn that frown upside down! I am a disco ball of love who just wants to be loved back. You'll know of my utmost loyalty soon. I am active but not necessarily like a craver of hikes all the time. I'd be happy with dog siblings who I can play with, or go to the park frequently. Being the only dog may work in my favor too, since I would be the sole attention getter which is furever my ambition. If you think we could be the life of a party together, let's meet!
