Calling all poodle lovers! Meet Nara, a 2 year old Schnoodle who came to TRD from the Imperial County shelter in March 2018. Nara is full grown and weighs about 24 pounds (though she could probably trim up a little!) According to her foster family, Nara is a total ham. No matter when, where, or who--she is pretty shameless about asking her family and even strangers for a good belly rub. She loves to nap next to her humans; and napping with this soft curly-coated pup isn't the hardest thing to do. For her smaller size, Nara is quite an energetic dog. She loves to go on walks in her neighborhood and run around her backyard. She enjoys chewy toys like bully sticks, stuffed Kongs, and hooves. She is great with humans, kids, dogs, and even cats. She is curious about the cat in her foster home and the cat doesn't seem to mind her "aura". Nara is good with most dogs and is also learning to walk on the leash and trot alongside her human. Nara is already house crated and crate trained. She is picking up commands like Sit and Name Recall. Nara is VERY food motivated so training her should be easy. If you would like to meet Nara, please fill out an adoption application on the TRD website and an adoption coordinator will be in touch to schedule a meet and greet.http://therescueddog.org/2015/dog-adoption-application/
