Naomi's story

　　Beautiful petite Naomi came to us when she and two other cats had to be given up by their elderly owner. The other two were quickly adopted, but at that point poor Naomi was not in very good shape. She had recurring skin and ear conditions that clearly were making her itchy and miserable, and her coat was matted and patchy.

　　Over the months, we tried to solve her issues, but nothing worked for long. Finally through much investigation with the vet, it seems she was allergic to, among other things, grain... and fleas! With some ongoing skin and ear treatments, a flea-free environment, and a raw meat diet, she is now truly on the mend! The gorgeous and sweet tiny lioness she always was inside has come out for all to see.

　　She is happy to be with the people and other cats of the rescue mixing and mingling with everyone on adoption days (though kittens are not her fave). If you are willing to stick with her special diet (it's easy! and available at most pet supply stores), Naomi might be the lovely and fluffy lady for you!
