Nana's story
Nana came to our rescue from a hoarding situation. She was living in a trailer with 24 other dogs without electricity or running water. On this day she began her journey towards finding a forever home. During this time her health began to fail so she was taken into foster and was seen by our vet. She is feeling so much better and is on thyroid medication and is due for a recheck in March. Her last check up showed she was headed in the right direction. Nana may need to continue her medication for life, only time will tell. Our vet is aging her at the youngest, 7 and oldest possibly 9 or 10. It is hard to determine age when they come from a hoarding situation and did not receive the proper care they deserved. She is missing quite a few teeth and that is why her little tongue sticks out. Whether 7 or 10, this gal loves her squeaky toys and loves to play fetch. She gets along with all dogs in her foster home big and small. She loves to sleep under the covers at night. Nana will go in and out of the dog door and is about 95% potty trained. She is not destructive and does not bark. She would love to hang out with you all day or accompany you to dog friendly places. She rides well in the car. Nana is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and vet checked. Her adoption fee is $160 and includes a free vet visit and 30 days of free pet insurance. To meet Nana, please text her foster mom Lisa at (602)
