Myles's story

　　Myles needs and wants his own home. He is a super sweet, 5-6 year old feline male rescued from the hot outdoors. Myles is socialized, litter trained, very tidy and friendly so it is a safe assumption he was just abandoned in the neighborhood. Debbie noticed him 3+ months ago and began to provide clean water. Once she knew he was on his own, she started to feed him with the intention to capture, neuter and rehome. The truth be told, Debbie thought he was a she and called him Annie. He has a cute girly sound when he talks. As she tells it now, dude looked like a lady.

　　Weeks ago Myles appeared at Debbie's door with a weeping eye and days later found him lying on rocks in the hot sun. The vet confirmed Myles was badly dehydrated and suffering from an infected wound. He would not have lasted another day but for the grace of God guiding Debbie to him and an awesome vet fitting him in between regular appointments. Dr. Wildflower is a goddess and cat whisperer.

　　Fast forward in time, Myles is a healthy, sweet, grateful and happy dude. He is neutered, chipped, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, rabies shot, well nourished, hydrated, handsome and ready to live indoors exclusively. He is long and lean at almost 10 pounds with his black coat getting softer and shinier every day now that he has proper nutrition and is fixed. Myles is learning toys which is fun to watch at his age. He loves to snuggle and be petted when he asks. He is most serene when part of his body is touching his human. We think a one other cat household with proper introductions would work well. He probably knows dogs and coyotes for sure given his former outside experience. We cannot say if a dog household would be successful unless the dog knew cats and would be welcoming.
