　　'Meet Mya: A Bundle of Love Awaiting Her Forever Home'   Mya is an exceptionally sweet, gentle, super affectionate hound. She's about 2 years old & currently weighs about 40 lbs but we're hoping that she is adopted into a family that loves to take daily walks. We feel that will surely help her tubiness disappear so she can get down to 35 lbs which would be her ideal weight.  This adorable hound is a bundle of love wrapped in a desire for attention. With her keen senses, she thoroughly enjoys walks where she can indulge in the various scents around her. Her prior experiences might have limited her exposure to diverse scenarios, making her a little cautious in unfamiliar situations. But give her a little patience, and she will warm up to it, especially if she's with a trusted person.  Her trust, which is quickly earned, is as solid as a rock, and with it, she's game to explore and try out anything.When it comes to people, she's indiscriminate with her affection. She seems to be very fond of children, adults, a stranger, or a familiar face – she's ready to shower them with love. And while her excitement sometimes leads her to jump in greeting, she's also known to lean in gently, offering a soulful gaze of absolute adoration.

　　  She's just starting to understand the basics of 'sit', but she's a quick learner, especially if there's attention to be gained. Her recall on the leash is commendable, and she responds instantly when called back. She builds a strong bond with anyone who pays attention to her & is very eager to please.   Ideal Home: One that can offer her lots of attention and love. Parents who are willing to gently introduce her to new scenarios, understanding her initial hesitancy. A home that appreciates her overwhelming love for humans and is willing to teach her greeting etiquette. A patient parent who is willing to continue her basic command training.   Additional Notes: If you're looking for a loyal companion who looks at you like you're the center of her universe and is eager to be a part of every adventure, then this is the hound for you. 　　  About LNF Dogs/Puppies:

　　All dogs and puppies have undergone temperament testing. They live in foster homes. They are housebroken (puppies are paper-trained) and crate trained. They have been microchipped for identification purposes. They have been tested for Heartworm, Ehrlichia, and Lyme disease. Each dog is on year-round Heartworm medication while in the rescue's care. They are up-to-date with Rabies, Bordetella, Distemper, Parvo, and Leptospirosis vaccines. They have been wormed.

　　Adoption Fee:

　　The adoption fee includes 30 days of FREE pet insurance, with an option to purchase additional coverage. The rescue strives to provide the best medical care to ensure the health of the dogs, including spaying or neutering.

　　Adoption Requirements:

　　A minimum physical fence of 4 feet in height is mandatory and must be installed. Some dogs may require a 6-foot wood or vinyl fence, as noted in their profiles. Electric fences are not accepted under any circumstances.
