My story
To learn more email [email protected] Murry (A536353) is a loving, social, 65 pound boy who has struggled since daily in his kennel since his arrival 2+ weeks ago at the shelter. He came home with me for a sleepover and has been a wonderful boy to have around. His temperament is similar to a Labrador Retriever, barely leaving my side, always keeping a goofy smile on his face while his tail knocks everything off of nearby tables, and showing off full-body tail wags.He has been pretty laid back since we made it home, catching up on sleep as he enjoys a break from the noise and activity at the shelter. He has only had one accident so he`s mostly housetrained and he`s at least partially crate trained too, going into it without too much encouraging and sleeping through the night without an issue. He`s one of the few dogs who willingly jumped into the bath tub without me having to pick him up, although it took some convincing to keep him in it. He`s food-motivated so he should be quick to learn more of the basics and anything else that you want to teach him. Murry loves to play with rope toys and is good at sharing them with other dogs. He likes to play a little rough so he may not be the right match for every playmate, but he would love to meet every dog that he sees. He has loved going on hikes, showing off his keen eye for noticing squirrels, and has been great on car rides. He has been a bit of an escape artist at HAS so he`ll need a yard with a privacy fence that he can`t climb, or an invisible fence to keep him contained.
