My story

　　Cheers! I'm Murphy Fitzpatrick, a handsome Irish Wolfhound. I was picked up by animal control due to things in my past. I have a little fear of leashes but the staff here is working with me on overcoming it. So far, I've been doing well with harnesses. I'm a friendly dog who loves to play. Sometimes I forget I'm a big dog because I always want to sit on laps and pretend to be a lap dog. I do great with other dogs and LOVE to play chase. You don't need treats to motivate me! All you need to do is take me to the dog park to play with doggie friends. I would be awesome as a hiking dog and I do great with both men and women. Everybody here loves to watch me play and hop around. If you are my furever home, come visit me at the Valley Animal Center's dog adoption center.
