Munchkin's story

　　This is the Southwest corner of Iliff and Buckley - the corner with Burger King and the Money Tree. Look for our signs out on the sidewalk in front of our new place. We are right next to the groomer.

　　Munchkin is 11 year old toy poodle and has had the same owner her whole life who passed away this past year. Munchkin is great with kids and has good energy levels. Her favorite thing to do is go for a walk or to sleep right next to you while you're on the couch. She has lived with one English bulldog and one boxer previously and also a cat years ago. She was fine with all of these animals and is a bit timid at first with other dogs just to make sure they won't hurt her-- she is very aware of her small size of 10 pounds. She is up to date on all her shots and recently got a haircut, etc. She will sleep on the couch/ her bed if you do not like her in your room or she will sleep in your bed with you. She is pee pad trained and also potty trained for normal outdoor potty breaks/walks. She is very sweet but has mild separation anxiety and loves having someone who is around a fair amount.

　　ABOUT ADOPTING FROM CPR: Adopters must be 21 years of age or older. Our puppies are only available at our adoption events. CPR does not reserve or take requests. Due to our limited foster homes, we cannot hold puppies for anyone nor can we board puppies after being adopted. Because of the overwhelming demands on our foster homes, all adoptions must be done on a first-signed up, first-served basis. Online signup will be available at 12:01am on adoption day until 30 minutes prior to the start of the event, at which time sign up will begin in person at The Hopeful Hound adoption center. Sign up online HERE. A personal visit to our adoption event is required. We do not ship out of state.
