Meet Mugie! This sweet 4-year-old Lab mix landed in the shelter when his owner was too elderly to care for him, and then Labs and More came to his rescue! This exceptionally friendly guy is said to be a great house dog who is quiet in the home although he will bark when someone comes to your door. He is a very cool, low-key companion who also does well home alone. He knows basic commands, such as sit and stay down, and is housetrained with a dog door. He is very treat motivated but not food aggressive, and even does well during bath times! If you put a comfy blanket down, he will likely snuggle up and stay in his happy spot. He definitely takes much pleasure in sunbathing and snoozing! He's not a jumper but playful, with a great enthusiasm for his toys and playing fetch. He gets very excited for walks with you and does very well on the leash. Mugie's previous owner tells us he is friendly with other dogs and lived with a cat. He also has been fostered with a small and large dog, so if you have other furry friends in your home, this lovable boy may be the perfect companion for you.
