Mr. Peabody's story

　　When I look at Mr. Peabody, I see so much in his eyes... I'm just not sure what it is. Mr. Peabody was somewhat of a mystery to me. Sometimes I wish the dogs could talk and tell us where they're coming from. It seems to me, that Mr. Peabody has a world of experiences behind him. Mr. Peabody was pretty reserved and seemed a little nervous of me, although he allowed me to pet him. He walked well on the leash and was eager to explore the yard. He obviously belonged to someone at some point, because he already knows "sit" "paw" and "down"

　　Mr. Peabody needs someone with patience that is willing to get to know him over time. He's not a dog that is going to immediately hop in your lap. He needs some time and space to get to know you.

　　If you think you can help Mr. Peabody, please visit him at the MCAC West shelter in Phx (2500 S. 27th Ave.). Hours are 11-6 Mon-Fri and 11-5 Sat & Sun. Mr. Peabody may prefer to be the only pet in the house; if you have a dog at home already, a dog intro is required prior to adopting.
