My story

　　02/20/22 Mozart, previously known as Kitty Blue, was surrendered to the shelter after her owner was not able to care for her and her caretaker was not able to house her due to her behavior towards the other pets in the home.

　　Mozart's caretaker stated that she was aggressive towards the other animals in the home, but they did not specify which animals, their species, or the circumstances.

　　Mozart's previous owner did make contact with us to let us know that she had lived with other cats peacefully in their home, so we have updated Mozart's writeup to reflect that she should be cautiously introduced to new feline friends (if any) in her adoptive home. At the shelter, Mozart has spent most of her days tucked into the hide that we provide for her.

　　She will interact cautiously when approached, but is clearly overwhelmed at the shelter.

　　Due to her behavior at the shelter and her history in previous homes, we will still require that she go to a home without dogs, and without children under 5 years, as she has a history of being very timid and not adjusting well to new animal housemates in particular. Mozart is a lovely shy girl who has had a tough run of it (her most recent owner loved her dearly but was just not able to provide a home for her), so if you are interested in meeting this sweet girl, please give the shelter a call!06/29/19 Kitty Blue was surrendered to the shelter because she was too playful with the senior cats in her home. Kitty Blue is a timid cat and needs a quite home with no loud hyper dogs. Per her owner she is said to be litterbox trained, gentle when playing, affectionate, and likes to play with other cats.
