You are looking at a 1988 Mountain Goat Deluxe Hot Rod in excellent condition.
Jeff Lindsay’s finest with Hot Rod paint!
This one was from the Mombat collection.
Mr. Archer had professional picture taken and they are still on the mombat website.
I miss Jeff.
Hard to beat metallic black with classic red Hot Rod flames, especially when applied to the oval-tubed Deluxe model.
The fillet brazing really flows nicely with the oval tubes.
The Campagnolo parts are a combination of Euclid and Centaur with the Centaur pieces using the optional Graphite finish.
No dents dings or cracks.
There are a couple of chips as it appears to have been lightly ridden in the past.
It could be easily touched up, but I don’t feel comfortable as it is truly an original work of art.So now the real question, why would anyone sell this?
Call it a weak moment, but I’ve got another build going and I can’t have them all.
I know I am going to regret it. Frame
