Baxter is a beautiful Parti color Morkie: black and white spots with brown on his ears. The black spots will turn silver gray as he ages. Baxter is a cautious little guy, he has to check it out first before he tackles it (unlike his brother). He is a small toy sized dog, but not a teacup. He should be around 8 - 12 lbs full grown. Both his mother and father are 9 lbs (pictures 4 & 5 - are of his father Boomer, and 6 & 7 are of his mother Angel).
Baxter was born May 20, 2015. His tail has been docked and dewclaws removed, he is up to date on vaccinations and worming and comes with a one-year health guarantee, as well as a new puppy kit, which includes: health records, his favorite toy and blanket, dog food, pee pads, care instructions, and a dose of Bene-bac (probiotics) for an easier adjustment to his new home.
Morkies are considered hypoallergenic, because they do not shed, but they require a haircut 3
4 times a year and need to be brushed on a regular basis. They do very well as the only animal in the home, but also do well sharing their person with others if they have to. They love going for walks, but do not require daily walks to stay healthy and sane, for that reason, they make great apartment pets. They are the ultimate lap dogs (dont bother buying a Frisbee), can be harder to house break and think they are the official doorbell if someone comes calling.
Most Morkies are great little travelers. They are small enough to fly on all major airlines and love to ride in the car. Their average life span is 12
15 years, maybe more, as they tend to be very healthy. They have the magical power of becoming the love of your life in the matter of moments.
