Mork the amazon's relinquishing owner says:
"This birds name is Mork, he is 18 years old. He is in need of a new loving home. You MUST have large bird experience. This bird is a male bird, he is a Mealy Amazon, which is the largest species of Amazons. My father recently got home from the hospital in Anchorage, and Mork has been attacking him since he got back. My dad just cannot take care of him properly with this behavior. My dad has had Mork for about three years, and Mork has made some progress, but not much. I have large birds as well, and I would not presume to have enough experience to handle him, so when I say experience, I mean with large aggressive birds, particularly this species.
The rehoming fee includes the bird, his cage and toys. You must pick this bird up, and should you decide you cannot handle this bird once youve received him, we would like to be advised, and if you dont mind help in rehiring until he has found a forever home."
*Mork's relinquishers are asking a rehoming fee. Rehoming fees are strictly between relinquisher and adopter and The Alaska Bird Club neither cliams nor influences this fee*
