My story
Hi, my name is Otis and my mom met up with a handsome stranger one night and created me. I am a Brittany/Lab/maybe some Harrier mix. I am a neutered liver/white 52 lb 2 ½ yr old male. Now just because I am 50 lbs, I consider myself small, as I want to cuddle and lay my head in your lap and be your lap baby boy. I love everyone and everybody. I am having fun playing with my 4-legged foster cousin, he gets dropped off to babysit. I am healthy, but my ears do need cleaning, so I don’t get an ear infection. My foster mom says I am an old soul in a young body. I am house broken, crate trained, thou uggg, don’t I look cute enough not to hide in that crate. I promise I will be a good boy. I am utd on vaccines and on HW/FT prevention.
Even the vet thinks I am a sweet goofy boy. I am happy go lucky. My 2-legged dad died and I was his dog, but my 2-legged mom felt she couldn’t take care of me and her other dog, so turned me over to NBRAN to find me a loving forever home. I do need a physical 5 to 6 ft fence, which is not chain-link. My foster mom discovered that I could climb it and go have fun on the other side. To say the least she was not happy with me and reported it to the NBRAN family. I feel I should wander and be friends with everyone. Kind of important in my eyes, don’t you think?
I am not sure if I am good with cats, I was just hanging out next door and trotted behind one in the next yard, didn’t chase it or bark at it. NBRAN was told I was around cats, but they can’t deem me cat friendly. I love chews and toys. Lots of treats, yummy. I do need some work on a leash, as I want to get somewhere, so I do pull.
My New Year home wish is finding someone who will love me unconditionally and forever.
