Moose & Mora's story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.
Moose & Mora are a brother/sister pair of 14wk old Bernese Mountain Dog/Retriever mixes that found their way into rescue after the backyard breeder who had them had sold the rest of the litter. These two were the smallest, and not as striking as their siblings. With a new litter ready, these sweethearts had to go, so now they are safe with DAAWGS! They are small for their age and mix and are currently adjusting to life where they are treated with kindless and love and not like livestock. They will need homes prepared for all of the havok that comes from a large breed puppy, as well as all of the training they will require. We are NOT looking to place them as a pair, but they would definitely benefit from homes where there is an established dog to show them the ropes. From the poor conditions in the barn where they were kept (and no doubt the poor quality food they ate) their coats are very thin...but they are starting to come in nicely now that they are on good food. Applicants with large breed experience preferred as these kids are going to be good sized adults!
