This Montres Allison tourbillon houses a movement developed by Terry Allison and Tim Strong. The tourbillon movement is manual wind, but features a clutch which prevents the ability to break the main spring in the event of attempted over-winding. A wearer can continuously wind this tourbillon watch with no worries about over-winding. Over-winding a manual wind watch with a screw-down crown can and does happen. It cannot happen with this Montres Allison timepiece.
This watch is made to order. The dial plates are made from 18k gold. We can plate the various dial components and hands including the tourbillon bridge in rhodium, 24k yellow gold, 18k yellow gold, 18k rose gold, and blue nano-ceramic e-coat by Kliar.
We do not plate external parts of the watch such as the case, crown, and buckle.
The price quoted is for the palladium version of this watch. However, we also offer the watch in 18k gold or platinum case with matching buckle and crown. Call us or email us for pricing.
Customization of the hour markers and guilloche patterns can be performed, and the case finishing can also be customized to your desire - brushed, rough, polished.
