Montgomery is a handsome elderly gent who with his shiny black coat, white collar and cuffs looks as if he is eternally ready for a formal event. He was found as a stray, so we aren't sure of his actual age but we guess anywhere from 10-13. His manners are lovely. He is a tidy eater, takes treats gently, rides well in a car and walks nicely on a lead. When you are sitting to watch TV or lying to read a book he likes to be very close to you--so put his bed nearby! Although visually and hearing impaired, he manages very well and can often be seen running and playing in open spaces. He may be older, but this boy still has a good deal of energy and loves his attention! He currently shares his foster home with a fellow small dog and cats. While in rescue he has received senior bloodwork, a dental, is up to date on all his vaccinations and is currently finishing treatment for a urinary tract infection.

　　Montgomery's ideal home would be one that can let him out to use the bathroom regularly or won't mind leaving out a pee pad for him!
