My story
This season holds a wonderful sense of kindness and to those who yearn to know a calmness, there is nothing quite the same as one who can expel the tranquility of peace. When Montana first came to us, she was in a panic and didn't understand where on earth she was nor why she was here.
At 5 years old, she didn't see anyone as safe and feared everything.
We didn't know it, but to top it off she was in pain.
She had several teeth that needed to be pulled!
Well...once she got medical care and was finally out of pain, the rest just began to slowly fall into place. She has progressed leaps and bounds and has learned to trust.
Those she trusts, she is head over heels happy to be with.
She rubs on you, LOVES to have you pet her and stroke her all over and even likes to play with ribbon toys. She needs a quiet home where she can chill and relax with her bestie(s).
Purrs come freely to this girl and she, herself now expels a sense of peace by just trusting enough to accept the calmness that surrounds her.
Montana is very gentle and has not used her claws against anyone while she's been here.
If she wants your attention, she will very gently take a paw and reach out to try to bring you closer to her...all without the use of claws.
She does like an area where she retreat when something frightens her suddenly, but then who doesn't? Meet Montana and give her little while to realize that you, too exhibit kindness.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Montana, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
