My story

　　08/30/22 This handsome boy is Monroe! Monroe came to the shelter as a stray so we don't have any prior information on him. Here at the shelter he has been a very good boy! Monroe has done an excellent job at keeping his kennel clean (accident free) indicating he might be housebroken. He has also been very friendly with his doggy neighbors! Since he was a stray we do not know how he does with other critters so please make sure to do slow, safe, and controlled introductions. We also do not know how he does with children. Monroe was picked up running down the road so it is important that his new owners always have him on a leash, secure tie-out, or supervised in a fenced in a yard. Monroe has won over the hearts of the staff and now would like to find a new place to call home!
