Monkey's original owner made all the preparations to take him for her move out of the country, and at the last minute, found out that requirements had changed where he was unable to go. Having to relinquish at the last minute broke her heart, but no other options remained. He's been a great addition to the Cat Adoption Center since arriving. A favorite among the volunteers who gave him lots of attention when hearing his story. Monkey is a great boy - very loving - enjoys pets. Come to Chow Down in Evergreen - have some fun with funky Monkey. He is usually in a condo above the cages, but readily comes out for attention. Mellow, gentle boy. Doesn't really like the other cats - will probably do best as only cat.
