A Most Amazing Cat!

　　When Monica arrived at the Coronado Animal Care Facility as a stray, she was in pretty bad shape. But that didnt stop her from letting caregivers know what a loving and special cat she is. With medical attention and lots of TLC, Monica did a quick turn-around and showed us what intestinal fortitude she has.

　　We dont know Monicas story, but at some time she was obviously with people who she loved. Somewhere along the line, she fell upon hard times, but she hasnt let that affect her love of people.

　　Monica enjoys hanging out with people and is very vocal about getting their attention. She will follow you everywhere

　　until she decides that you need to stop walking around and just settle down and pet her. Monica delights in pets and will look at you and meow and nudge your hand to let you know she would enjoy your petting her now.

　　Monica will make someone the most attentive and delightful feline companion.

　　Monica is enrolled in our Life Time Care program due to chronic renal disease. She also has some arthritis in her lower spine. Being enrolled in our Life Time Care program means that we are looking for a foster home for Monica

　　a home in which she can live out her life with PAWS taking responsibility for all of her medical care while she benefits from the TLC and warm environment of a home.

　　You can meet Monica at the Coronado Animal Care Facility. The facility is open daily between 9:00 am and 11:30 am and 12:30 pm and 4:00 pm (except major holidays). It is located at 1395 First Street at the south end of the Ferry Landing complex.
