Description

  Molly's story

Molly is a very shy girl who was brought into HSSA to be adopted instead of taking part in a TNR program. We have minimal information on how well she will do with dogs, children, or other cats. Due to her very shy personality she would do best in a quiet home with older children or very independent dogs and cats. She handled her exam very well and by the end she would enjoy being scratched. She is wiggly when being picked up.

If you have other animals and older children in your home, it's best to have her start out in a single room where she can become comfortable at her own pace. As soon as it seems shes comfortable, then she could be introduced to the rest of the house. Having her meet other animals should be a lengthy process to avoid over stressing. It may take multiple meetings for both parties to accept the other. A minimum of 3 months is recommended for her to become adjusted.
