My story
Molly is a 9-year-old female Cocker Spaniel who has already been spayed. She came to PAHS because her owner passed away. Her medium length coat is black and she has white/gray around her face. She has been recently groomed so her coat is short. Although Molly appears to be larger in her pictures she only weighs 20 pounds. This beautiful senior lady is spunky so don't let her age fool you! Molly is still quite active but very well behaved. She would be great in a home with other dogs. We would suggest that she NOT be in a home with younger children; she would be just fine with older children. Molly is super loving and affectionate. For that reason we think she would enjoy life best being a companion dog for someone who needs a devoted best friend. She would be great with an elderly person who could spend a lot of time with her. Molly is both housetrained and leash trained. Since she has always been an indoor dog we would require that this grand girl be an indoor dog only. ****Please note that when introducing a new dog into a home with children and other pets adult supervision is strongly recommended until the new dog settles in with the family.****Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120 and cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
