My story

　　Hi! I’m Mitzy. Although I’ve had a rough start in life my foster mom says I’ve come a long way in learning how to do all the dog things. I found myself with puppies! All my babies were placed and I was still at the shelter. Thank goodness MUSH found me! I’m about 3 years old, 53ish pounds, house trained, and crate trained (I will sing you the song of my people when I want out). Even though I’m as sweet as southern tea, I’m not a huge fan of meeting new dogs at first so I need some time to warm up to new friends. I currently live with a Black Lab, German Shepherd, and a Great Dane who all love to play with me now that I’m not so scared anymore. I also like children! My favorite thing to do is snuggle on the couch with my human and wrestle with my lab brother. I absolutely love to go out on walks, but will still need some assistance with my excitement because I get to smell and see all the things! My foster mom says after a few minutes with guided corrections I settle in very well. The best part about me is I’m a survivor and I would be so grateful to be part of your family!
