My story

　　Hi there! My name is Mitzi! I am an adorable seven-month-old shepherd mix that was recently rescued by one of the great deputies of Animal Control. I was with some other dogs and we were looking for food and a safe place to rest. Someone called Animal Control and we were picked up. At first I was a little afraid, but it didn't take me long to realize I was much safer at the shelter rather than running loose in a neighborhood. We waited for my family to claim me, but no one ever came. The shelter got me ready for adoption by giving me all of my vaccinations, they tested me for heartworms and I was negative, they gave me a microchip and they had me spayed. I am all set and ready to go!
